From laundry-folding robot butlers to fancy alarm clocks and lollipops that play music in your head, here’s a rundown of some of the top hits from the first two days of the conference.

Built entirely from Lego parts, the Bricasso scanned a pre-pixelated source image and saved it to a Lego Mindstorms EV3 unit. The saved data was then used to produce a mosaic using 1 x 1 bricks. Mindstorms, which has been discontinued, was released as an educational kit for building programmable robots from Lego bricks and components.

The first models to roll off the production line will be deployed in 2026 by carmaker Hyundai (which acquired Boston Dynamics in 2021) and Google’s AI research lab DeepMind, the company said, with other firms able to purchase the robots from 2027.
